EcoVida Properties is located in the beautiful coastal community of Playa Bejuco, Costa Rica. Since 2007, owners Dave and Shannon Playfair have grown and evolved the business through a variety of diverse projects. Today, EcoVida operates through two primary branches: 

1) EcoVida Cabinas

The EcoVida property consists of six rental units nestled on a lush 5,000 m2 property. The accommodations include the Green Cabinas, housed within a central building, and a unique, custom-built Shipping Container Apartment. Guests enjoy a variety of shared amenities, including a swimming pool, a rancho,  a half-court basketball area, high-speed Wi-Fi, a huged screened in area, a dedicated yoga space, ping-pong and more

The property is ideally situated just a five-minute walk from the beach, with buses, local shopping, dining, and medical services all within walking distance.

2) Consulting

With nearly two decades of local experience, Shannon Playfair now leverages her extensive background in Costa Rican business and hospitality to provide specialized consulting services. Shannon currently advises several hospitality businesses in the area and serves as an independent advisor for individuals looking to relocate or invest in Costa Rica.

By providing a "boots on the ground" perspective, she offers honest, unbiased guidance without the pressure of a traditional sales agent. Her most sought-after service is the "Ask Me Anything" session—a private online call where she shares 18 years of insight into living, working, and investing in the country. Her mission is to provide clients with the foundational knowledge they need to avoid common pitfalls and thrive independently in Costa Rica.
